Biographical Information

Frank Strong Dibrell was born July 13, 1903, in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He received his undergraduate education at Princeton University, before attending Harvard Law School and later New York University where he received his M.B. A. He worked for Chemical Bank and Trust Company as an attorney and trust officer between 1934 and 1942, before being called into the U.S. Army on May 5, 1942. He served as a captain until June 1946, and held various positions such as Legal Advisor, Assistant Claims Officer, and Public Relations Officer to the Twin Cities Regional Office. Dibrell was a member of the American Ordinance Association, American Society of Military Engineers, and the Central Association of Science and Math Teachers.

Dibrell passed away on November 13, 1991 and is buried at Mount Holly cemetery in Little Rock.
