Arrangement

Items are arranged alphabetically, by the name of the school. Items from Little Rock High School after 1927 are included with Little Rock Central High School, although the name of the school was not changed until the construction of Hall High School in 1957. (The building now known as Central High School opened in 1927.)


Scope and Contents

This collection contains directories, programs, yearbooks, newspapers, literary magazines, and other items from various elementary schools, junior high schools, senior high schools, and one college in Pulaski County. The oldest material in the collection is from 1878; much of it documents the twentieth century, and some materials represent the twenty-first century. Together, they present a tapestry of student life in Pulaski County over the years.
