The collection contains materials related to the Peabody School in Little Rock, Arkansas, and the graduating class of 1898. Teanie Green served as class secretary, and she remained in contact with her classmates and teachers for many years after graduation.

Items include correspondence, photographs, memorabilia, printed materials, newspaper clippings, and Green's scrapbook.


Biographical Information

Teanie Green was born on September 21, 1881, to Minnie Back and Marcus Green of Little Rock, Arkansas, She graduated from the Peabody School in 1898 where she served as class secretary.

Green was active in Congregation B'nai Isreal and served as secretary to Rabbi Ira Sanders. She worked for women's sufferage during the early 1900s and led a march in downtown Little Rock.
