Biographical Information

Leona Magnolia Oliver Maxwell was born in Logan County, Arkansas, on August 3, 1871, to James Monroe Oliver and Martha Antoinette Hale. She married J. G. "Howard" Maxwell on March 22, 1911, and the couple had one child. Oliver died on July 6, 1936.

Oliver lived in Logan County her entire life and was active in several organizations, including the Daughters of the American Revolution and the National Women's Christian Temperance Union.
